Edith's Kitchen

Are you in the mood for some delicious old-fashioned home style cooking? Come to Edith's Kitchen, located in a 1910 train station in Catawissa, PA, next to the Whistle Stop Caboose Lodge. From traditional breakfast food like homemade omelets and pancakes (and of course our signature breakfast dish, the Catawissa Mess) to burgers, salads, sandwiches, and home cooked dinner entrees (including Edith's Famous Pot Pie), you can rely on us for the best family dining atmosphere and lip-smacking food around.

 

Chef Sean Thomas and his wife Shawna opened the restaurant in December 2010, and it quickly earned rave reviews. Using fresh, local ingredients, Edith's Kitchen has become the local destination for comfort food and good times with family and friends. The breakfast Mess is a family favorite because, well, we figure it all goes to the same place anyway, so why keep it separate and civilized? Edith's is known for its hearty portions, reasonable prices, and relaxed pace. With indoor and outdoor dining, there's plenty of room for the whole gang.
